How to use this page
Everything below is also true on the intake call. If your question is not here, the invitation form has room for it, and a founder reads every one.
Questions
- Do I need a referral?
- No. Most men come to the table because another man here vouched for them, and that is our preferred path. But the door is open: put your application in, a founder will read it, and if it looks like a fit we will set up a conversation.
- What does it cost?
- The community is $20 a month, billed by Skool, and you can join today. A retreat seat starts at $3,000, depending on the venue, and covers lodging, every breakfast and dinner, the activities, and a year of the community. Lunch on free afternoons is on your own.
- How much time does it take?
- About an hour a month for the call, plus three nights once a year for the retreat. Beyond that, as much as you put in. The community is open every day.
- Is this a church thing?
- No. It is a business brotherhood for men who follow Christ. We pray, we open the Word, and then we open your P&L. Denomination does not matter. A real faith does.
- Do I have to be a Christian?
- Yes. The table is for men who profess Christ and want Him at the center of their business and home. It is the shared starting point for every conversation, and it would not be fair to a man who does not share it.
- Is it only for men?
- Yes. It is a brotherhood. Wives are part of the picture in every other way: the plan a man leaves the retreat with includes his marriage, and wives are welcome to write to us before a husband applies.
- How big does my business need to be?
- Past the idea stage, with revenue, people, and decisions that weigh on you. We do not publish a revenue floor. The intake form asks for a revenue or income band, and the honest test is whether you have at least a $4,000 problem the table can help you solve.
- Where do members live?
- Wherever they are building. The monthly call is virtual, and the retreat is a destination gathering with lodging included, so geography is not the barrier.
- What happens after I put an application in?
- A founder reads it personally. If it looks like a fit, we schedule a 30-minute conversation. If both sides want to proceed, you receive an invitation, and your seat is held once the retreat fee is paid.
- How long does the application take?
- About twelve minutes. It is five short steps: about you, faith and family, your work, the table, and commitment. Your answers are seen only by Marco and Johnny.
- Can I come to a retreat before joining?
- No. Retreats are for members. The retreat is where the brotherhood is built, and it only works with men who have committed to the year.
- What if I can't make a monthly call?
- Every call is recorded, transcribed, and archived, so you can catch up. We do ask that missing be the exception. The table only works when the chairs are full.
- Can I nominate someone?
- If you are a member, yes. There is a nomination page in the members area, and a founder reaches out to the man you name personally. Referral is how most seats are filled.
